Registering a handset

The supplied handset and base unit are

pre-registered. If for some reason the

handset is not registered to the base

unit, register the handset.

Important:

LIf you have already deregistered the

handset, perform steps 2 and 3 only.

1Handset:

K i {#}{1}{3}{0}

2Base unit:

BB-GT1500

Press and hold {x} until the 4

indicator flashes in red.

BB-GT1520/BB-GT1522/BB-

GT1540

Press and hold {x} until the

registration tone sounds and the 4

indicator flashes in red.

LIf all registered handsets start

ringing, stop ringing by pressing

the same button. Then repeat this

step.

LAfter the 4 indicator starts

flashing in red, the rest of the

procedure must be completed

within 90 seconds.

4Wait until “Enter Base PIN” is

displayed, then enter the base unit

PIN (default: “0000”), then press

M.

91.

LWhen the handset has been

registered successfully, _ will

change to w. If the keytone is

turned on (page 52), a

confirmation tone will be heard.

Registering an additional handset

See page 9 for information on the

available model. Start from step 2.

want to cancel. i M

4{V}/{^}: “Yes” i M

LWhen you cancel a different

handset than the one you are now

using, press {i} to exit.

1Press and hold {x} until the

registration tone sounds, and the 4

indicator flashes in red.

2Press and hold the handset number

({1} - {6}) that you want to cancel

until a confirmation tone sounds.
