Greeting message
When the unit answers a call, callers are
greeted by a greeting message. You can
record your own greeting message or
use a pre-recorded greeting message.

You can record your own greeting
message (max. 2 minutes) that is played
when the answering system answers a
call.
The greeting messages can be
recorded:
– separately for either the IP line or
landline.
– for both the IP line and landline using
a common greeting.
If you do not record a greeting message,
a pre-recorded greeting message is
used.
1Press {IP/TEL} repeatedly until the
display shows the desired line(s)
(n and/or m).

3Within 10 seconds, press {dr}
again.
4After the base unit beeps, speak
clearly about 20 cm away from the
MIC.
5To stop recording, press {}.
Using a pre-recorded greeting
message
If you erase or do not record your own
greeting message, the unit plays a pre-
recorded greeting message for callers
and asks them to leave messages.

while your greeting message is
playing.
Listening to messages using the base unit
When new messages have been
recorded, {6} on the base unit flashes.
Press {6} (centre of navigator key).
LThe base unit plays new messages
including voice memos.
LWhen you have no new messages,
the base unit plays back all
messages.

desired line(s)
1Press {IP/TEL} repeatedly until the
display shows the desired line(s)
(n and/or m).
2Press {6} (centre of navigator key).
Note:
LIf you select the line(s), voice memos
are not played (page 63).
