Battery recharge
The 4 indicator is off. LThe power of the base unit is off.
LYou have not agreed to the Terms of Use for
the A services. To use the A IP line, you
need to agree to it using the handset (page
19).
LThe Ethernet cable is not connected properly.
Connect it.
LYour network devices (hub, router, etc.) are
turned off. Check the LEDs for the link status
of the devices.
Problem Cause/solution
I cannot program items. LProgramming is not possible while either
another handset or the base unit is being
used. Try again later.
LProgramming is not possible while the base
unit is downloading data from the A
service. Wait until the 4 indicator stops
flashing and lights in steady green.
While programming, the
handset starts to ring.
LA call is being received. Answer the call and
start again after hanging up.
I cannot register a handset to a
base unit.
LThe maximum number of handsets (6) are
already registered to the base unit. Cancel
unused handset registrations from the base
unit (page 77).
LYou entered the wrong PIN number. If you
forget your PIN, see page 91.
LPlace the handset and the base unit away
from other electrical appliances.

I fully charged the battery, but
3 continues to flash, or 4
is displayed.
LClean the charge contacts and charge again
(page 21).
LThe battery may need to be replaced with new
ones (page 22).
The handset display is blank. LConfirm that the battery are properly installed.
