Using the Mode Dial

Macro mode

This mode allows you to take close-up pictures of the subject, e.g. When taking pictures of flowers.

You can take pictures with the lens at a distance of up to 5 cm (Wide) from the subject.

The available flash range is about

30 cm– 4.0 m. (This is applied when you set the ISO sensitivity to [AUTO] (Wide). However, the flash mode can be set to any mode except Slow sync./Red-eye

reduction [ ].)
