Applicable modes:
When Red-Eye Reduction ([ ], [ ], [ ]) is selected, Digital Red-Eye Correction
is performed whenever the flash is used. The camera automatically detects red-eye and
corrects the picture.
[OFF]/[ON]
Note
Only available when [AFMODE] is set to [š] and Face Detection is active.
Under certain circumstances, red-eye cannot be corrected.
It will be fixed to [ON] during the Intelligent Auto Mode.
In [3D PHOTO MODE] in Scene Mode, this setting is fixed to [OFF].
Applicable modes:
With the optional conversion lenses, you can record even more faraway pictures and take
close-up pictures of smaller subjects.

Refer to P164 for details about attaching the lens.
Ensure that [CONVERSION] is set to [OFF] when not using a conversion lens.
[CONVERSION] cannot be used in the following cases.
In [HANDHELD NITE SHOT] in [NIGHT PORTRAIT]
In [FLASH BURST] and [3D PHOTO MODE] in Scene Mode
