Applicable modes:
Taking Pictures with Manual Focus
Use this function when you want to fix the focus or when the distance between the lens
and the subject is determined and you do not want to activate Auto Focus.
Press [AF/AF#/MF] to display the focus
switching screen.
Press 3/4 to select [MF] and then press
[MENU/SET].
•To cancel, select [AF].
•[MF] is displayed in the upper left of the screen while
in Manual Focus Mode.
Press the rear dial a few times to enable
the Manual Focus operation.
•Enabled operation will switch every time the rear dial
is pressed.
•Manual Focus operation is enabled when [MF] at the
bottom right of the screen changes to orange.
Rotate the rear dial to display focus range on the screen.
Press 2/1 or rotate the rear dial to focus
on the subject.
•It may be difficult to make fine adjustments when
using the rear dial. If you have any difficulty, we
recommend adjusting using the cursor button.
•When you stop operating the rear dial, the focus
range will disappear after a few seconds.
