9. Stabilizer, Zoom and Flash

[Digital Zoom]

Applicable modes:

Although the image quality deteriorates every time you zoom in further, you can zoom in up to four times the original zoom magnification.

(Continuous zooming is not possible.)

[MENU] > [Rec] > [Digital Zoom] > [4t]/[2t]

•When using the Digital Zoom, we recommend using a tripod and the self-timer (P174) for taking pictures.

•Those menu items are shared by the [Rec] menu and the [Motion Picture] menu. When the setting for either of the two is changed, the setting for the other is also changed.

Not available in these cases:

•This function is not available in the following cases:

–[Toy Effect]/[Toy Pop]/[Miniature Effect] (Creative Control Mode)

–[Multi Exp.]
