Setting the Menu

The [Setup] menu contains some important settings relating to the camera’s clock and power.

Check the settings of this menu before proceeding to use the camera.

Setting menu items

You can set menu items in two ways: with button operation, which involves pressing the cursor button and rotating the control dial, or with touch operation, which involves touching the screen.

In this owner’s manual, steps for setting a menu item are described as follows. Example: In the [Rec] menu, change [Quality] from [A] to []

[MENU] > [Rec] > [Quality] > []

1 Press [MENU/SET].

[Rec] (P316)

This menu lets you set the aspect ratio, number of pixels

and other aspects of the pictures you are recording.

 

[Motion Picture]

This menu lets you set the [Rec Format], [Rec Quality], and

(P215)

other aspects for motion picture recording.

 

Operation of the unit, such as displaying of the screen and

[Custom] (P320)

button operations, can be set up according to your

preferences. Also, it is possible to register the modified

 

 

settings.

 

This menu lets you perform the clock settings, select the

 

operating beep tone settings and set other settings which

[Setup] (P45)

make it easier for you to operate the camera.

 

You can also configure the settings of Wi-Fi related

 

functions.

[Playback] (P324)

This menu lets you set the Protection, Cropping or Print
