2 Press [7] twice to highlight “R”.

3 Press [ENTER].

To enter a space

Press [CANCEL ] and press

[ENTER].

3 Press [g] (Set).

Returns to the previously displayed screen.

To end partway

Press [RETURN].

nTo save frequently used phrases

You can add frequently used phrases and recall them later. Maximum number of saved phrases: 20

Maximum number of characters per phrase: 20 After entering the phrase (Ôabove, steps 1–2)

1Press [i] while the phrase to be saved is shown in the name field.

2Press [w] to select “Save” and press [ENTER].

To cancel saving phrase Press [RETURN].

nTo recall a saved phrase

1Press [u].

2Press [e,r,w,q] to select the phrase to be recalled and press [ENTER].

nTo erase a saved phrase

1Press [u].

2Press [e,r,w,q] to select the phrase to be erased and press [SUB MENU].

3Press [ENTER].

4Press [w] to select “Erase” and press [ENTER].

5Press [RETURN].

Deleting titles

Refer to the control reference on page 27.

A title cannot be restored once it is deleted. Make certain before proceeding.

You cannot delete while recording.

When a recorded title is deleted the available disc space will increase by the amount deleted.

The available disc space increases if any of these is deleted.

Preparation

Turn on the television and select the appropriate video input to suit the connections to this unit.

Turn the unit on.

Insert a disc (Ô page 18).

1 While stopped

Press [FUNCTIONS].

2 Press [e,r] to select “Delete” and press [ENTER].
