Create chapters

RAM

1 Press CHAPTER during play.

“CHAPTER” lights on the Front Display for a few seconds.

Press SKIP ►►Ι or SKIP Ι◄◄ to skip to the start of a chapter.

You cannot activate this function when recording and playing at the same time.

Notes:

You can play and edit the created chapters. (pp. 51~53, 57~59)

For other notes concerning the chapter, see page 51.

Changing audio during play

You can change the audio being received or played.

1 Press AUDIO.

• How the type changes depends on when you press the button.

While playing DVD-RAM or Video CD

Notes:

The audio cannot be changed while Time Slip is used.

RAM You may be unable to change the audio when you have connected the unit to an AV receiver through the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT terminal and “Dolby Digital” is set to “Bitstream”. If this occurs:

-Change “Dolby Digital” to “PCM” or “Bitstream”. (p. 69)

-Connect also with an audio cable (pp. 18~19) and change the input on the receiver.

While playing DVD-Audio or DVD-Video

You can change the audio channel number each time you press the button. This allows you to change things like the soundtrack language.
