AUTO-LOCK THE KEYPAD

When deactivating the locked key, you have to enter [*] additionally. However, with Auto-Lock, you can deactivate the lock function automatically. Activate Auto-Lockas follows before using it.

1On the home screen press Start > All Programs > More > Settings

>Phone > Auto Lock.

2Change the status of Auto-Lockto ‘On’.

3Select Done.

Once Auto-Lockis activated, the keypad will become locked when the slide is lowered and the screen is turned off. You can unlock the setting in this condition by pressing the [Unlock] key or simply open the slide.

SET THE DATE AND TIME

Your phone is not preset with current date and time. You will need to select the time zone and the date and time.

1On the home screen, press Start > All Programs > More > Settings or select Settings and press All Settings.

2Select Clock & Alarm > [O]> Date and Time.

3In Time Zone, select your time zone using the [ L/ R]. 4In Date, edit the month, day, or year.

5In Time, edit the hour, minute, and second.

6Press Done.
