Displaying and copying images using ACDSee™

zTurn your computer on.

xMake sure the camera is turned off and connect it to your computer with the USB cable.

Make sure that there is an SD Memory Card/ MultiMediaCard in the camera.

cTurn your camera on.

ACDSee starts up automatically and the list of images is displayed. Go to Step b.

Your camera can be

found in the [My

 

Computer] window as

[Removable Disk]. Camera images can be

found in [My Computer]

[Removable Disk (or the name on the volume label on the SD Memory Card/MultiMediaCard, if there is one)] [DCIM] [XXXPENTX]. (XXX is a 3-digit number.)

A list of the images will be displayed.

b Select the image you want to view from the list. Double-click the selected image to enlarge it to full-screen display.

nCopy the image to your computer.

Select an image from the list and copy it to the desired fold- er in your computer. Refer to the operating manual for your computer for copying instructions.

You can also copy images using Internet Explorer for Windows.

• If you are using Windows XP and there is a volume label on

memo the SD Memory Card/MultiMediaCard, the name on the vol- ume label will be displayed instead of [Removable Disk]. If the card is unformatted, the manufacturer and type of card may be displayed.

Joining Panorama Images Using ACD Photostitcher

Once you have installed ACDSee™ and PhotoStitcher™ in your computer, you can join the images you have taken in Panorama Assist mode.

The folder names and image names displayed on the screen for explanatory purposes may vary depending on your operating system.

zStart up ACDSee™.

See p.102 for instructions on how to start up ACDSee™.

xSelect the images you want to join from the list of images.

To select more than one image at once, click on the images while pressing [Ctrl] on the keyboard.

After selecting the images, click the [ACD photostitcher] but- ton on the tool bar.

If no images have been selected, the [ACD photostitcher] button is disabled.

Click the [ACD photos- titcher] button
