As with almost all products nowadays, the firmware of your device should always be up-to-date. With the current fir mware version, your BlackBerry® dealer provides you with additional features and corrects known errors. Therefore, if you have troubles with the operation of the Philips Recorder you should always first download the latest BlackBerry® Desktop Software and update your device this way:

Please check the firmware version of your device:

• Press the BlackBerry® menu button

• Select Options (wrench)

• Select About

There you find the following entry: V4.6.0.216 (Platform 4.0.0.183)

The number of the version should be at least 4.3.x.x

In general it is recommended that you update the firmware of your BlackBerry® with the BlackBerry® Desktop Software for the use of multimedia applications.
