2 Inserting your Smart Card

To de-scramble digital encrypted channels, you need a smartcard from your cable TV supplier, which you will be delivered when taking up a subscription.

Insert the smartcard with the golden chip facing up.

Push the smartcard into the slot as far as it will go. Approximately 1 cm of the card will be visible outside the slot.

New and updated information may be downloaded onto the smartcard from time to time.

The smartcard status can be checked from the Smartcard item of the Premiere menu.
