Get the IP address of the router
Consult the user man ual of the router.•
Or, to check for the settings of t he router, •
enter the IP addres s (e.g. 192.168.1.1) in
the web browser (e.g. Inter net Explorer)
of the computer, and then , get the
desired informat ion in the setup page.
Assign the IP address man ually
On the • MCi8080, enter an IP ad dress
that allows the unit to b e in the same
subnet as the rout er.
For example, if the r outer has
IP address: 192.168.1.1, Subnet mask:
255.255.255.000;
Then, enter the foll owing on the unit:
IP address: 192.168.1.XX (wher e XX
denotes a number), Subn et mask:
255.255.255.000.
Press • / repeatedly to select the ent ry

To enter the desired digit s, use the •
alphanumeric buttons on the remote
control; or press / repeatedly.

is already assig ned to a computer/device o n
the network.

Stop getting Auto IP
1 Use an Eth ernet cable to connec t the unit
to the router.
2 On the uni t, select [Wired (Ethernet)].
3 Press BACK on the remote con trol to
stop getting au to IP.
