Library on the HDD

You can transfer the music / picture files from
a computer to the HDD i n two ways:
by using a USB cable tha t connects •
the HDD to the comput er;
or, through the home Wi- Fi/wired •
network.

from the computer t o HDD, without
removing the HDD from MCi8080.

Connect the HDD to MCi8080

After you have trans ferred music/pict ure files
from the computer to HDD CA - COMMON
TOPIC - PREPARE - HEADE R - Prepare (see
‘Prepare’ on page 17),
1 Inst all the supplied soft ware on the
computer: Media Browser for PC,
TwonkyMedia Server for Mac.
On the computer, find the •
“MCI8080 folder” you copied from
the HDD;
Run the setup file unde r •
TwonkyMedia folder to start
installation on the computer.
2 Ensure t hat you have removed the HDD
safely from the compu ter.
3 Connect the HDD to MCi8080.
