Search for music/pictures
In a list of options, you can do one of the
following to search for what you need.
Tip
When doing searc hing in the following way s, •
ensure that MCi8 080 is in the mode of [Media
Library], [HDD], or [Internet Radio].
Use the navigation keys • , , , .
Start quick sea rch by using the •
alphanumeric search, Superscroll, and
Quickjump.
Note
• Alphanumeric search, Superscroll and
Quickjump are available only w hen you enter
a long sorted lis t of options (excluding the
home screen and lis ts of menus).

Alphanumeric search

In a long list of options , start alphan umeric
search by entering c haracters that an i tem
starts w ith or contains.
1 Press SEARCH on the remote con trol, if
necessary.
A text box appears. »
2 Enter cha racters by using the r emote
control (see ‘Your MCi8080’-
>’Over view ’->’Text entr y’).
Search for music
1 On the Napster screen, selec t [Search] >
[Song], [Album], or [Artist].
You can search for music by the name »
of a song, album, or artist.
2 Enter th e name of the desired song,
album, or artist.
Press • or to select the entry
location;
Use the alphanumer ic buttons to •
enter desired let ters;
You can also press • or
repeatedly, or press and hold or
until the desired le tter appears;
Press • OK to co nfirm.
Or,
1 On the Napster screen, selec t
[Channels].
2 Selec t a playlist by genre (e.g. jaz z, blues).
Or,
On the • Napster screen, selec t
[Catalog ue].
You can browse music as sorted »
and organized by the expert
music service of Napster.
Play music
To start play, press • .
To stop play, press • .
My Library
All your played music is saved to [M y Library].
You can search for the music by song , channel,
album, artis t, and genre.
