6.Slide the lamp cage cover in.

Slide the lamp cage cover in the direcrtion of the arrow. Then fasten the user service screw.

Note:

Be sure the lamp timer is reset after replacing the lamp. If not reset, the projector does not recognize the lamp replacement and the previous status remains unchanged.

CAUTION!

Do not remove the lamp cage directly after operation of the projector. The lamp may be extremely hot. Wait at least one hour after the powercord is disconnected to allow the surface of the lamp cage to fully cool before removing the lamp cage.

Be sure to remove the lamp cage by the handle. Be sure not to touch the glass surface of the lamp cage or the inside of the projector.

CAUTION!

To avoid injury to yourself and damage to the lamp, be sure to carefully follow each steps under ‘Replacing the lamp’.

Before or after replacing the lamp, be sure to clean the air filters. See page 29 for cleaning the air filters.

Resetting the lamp timer

1.Connect the powercord.

Plug the powercord into the AC socket of the projector.

2.While pressing 4, 2 and OK on the projector, press Power ON on the projector.

‘Lamp 0000H’ is displayed, indicating that the lamp timer is reset.

KENSINGTON LOCK

This projector has a Kensington Security Standard slot for use with a Kensington Micro Saver Security System. Refer to the information that came with the system for instructions on how to use it to secure the projector.
