Automatic TV channel allocation

(Follow TV)

Withthis function, the video recorder stores the channels in
thesame order as on the TV set. This only works if the video
recorder(socket AV1EXT1 )and the TV set are connected
witha scart cable.
DYoumust switch off any equipment connected to
socket AV2EXT2 .
aSwitchon the TV set. If required, select the programme
numberfor the video recorder.
bPress MENU onthe remote control. The main menu will
appearon the screen.

cSelectthe line ’FOLLOW TV’ with rP=or ;Pq
andconfirm with OK . Take notice of the message on the
TVscreen.
dPress OK .’TV01’willappear in the video recorder
display.

eSelectprogramme number ’1’ on the TV set.
fConfirmwith OK on the video recorder-remote control.
Thevideo recorder compares the TV channels on the TV
setand the video recorder.
Whenthe video recorder finds the same TV channel as
theTV set, then it stores it at ’P01’.
DWhen’NOTV’ (no signal from TV set) appears in the
display,the TV channels can not be allocated
automatically.In this case, read paragraph: ’Manual
TVchannel allocation’.
gWaituntil e.g.: ’TV02’ appears.
hSelectthe next programme number, e.g.: ’2’ on the TV set.
iConfirmwith OK on the video recorder-remote control.
DIfyou have allocated the wrong TV channel, you can
goback one step with CLEAR(CL) .
jRepeatsteps gto juntil all TV channels have been
allocated.
kToend, press MENU .

Automatic TV channel search

Thevideo recorder will search for all available TV channels.
DIfyou want to start the automatic TV channel search
again,then follow theinstructions below.
aSwitchon the TV set. If required, select the programme
numberfor the video recorder.
bPress MENU onthe remote control. The main menu will
appearon the screen.
cSelectthe line ’AUTO TUNING’ with rP=or
;Pq.
dConfirmwith OK .
eSelectthe country of your residence with ;Pqor
rP=.
Ifyour country doesn’t show up, select ’OTHERS’.
fPress OK .The ’Automatic TV channel search’ starts.
