Philips VR605A/58 Programming a recording (without SHOWVIEW)

DTheprogramming information has been stored in a

TIMERblock.

gMakesure that the cassette you have put in can be

recordedon.

hSwitchoff with STANDBY/ONm.

Theprogrammed recording will only function when the

videorecorder is switched off with STANDBY/ON m.

DIfany of the TIMER blocks are in use, ’k’ will light up

onthe video recorder display.

DWhilea programmed recording is being made, you

cannotoperate your video recorder manually. If you

wantto cancel the programmed recording, press

STANDBY/ONm.

DIfthe video recorder is switched on a few minutes

beforea programmed recording is supposed to

begin,’SWITCH TO STANDBY- TIMER

RECORDING’will flash on the TV screen.

DIfyou reach the end of the cassette during a

recording,the video recorder willautomatically

ejectthe cassette.

DIfyou forget to load acassette, ’NO CASSETTE’

willappear on the TV screen and ’k’ will flash on the

videorecorder display.

DIfyou have put in a cassette which cannot be used

forrecording, the video recorder will automatically

ejectit.

DIf’ALL TIMERS OCCUPIED’ appears on the TV

screenwhen you press TIMERk, you have used up

allthe available TIMER blocks. If you want to clear

orcheck a TIMER block, select it with ;Pqor

rP=.

DProgrammenumbers ’E1’ and ’E2’ are for

recordingsfrom other sources (through scart socket

AV1EXT1 or AV2 EXT2 ).

Programming a recording(without ’SHOWVIEW’)

aSwitchon the TV set and select the programme number

forthe video recorder.

bPress TIMERkon the remote control twice . The free

TIMERblock will be highlighted.

cPress TIMERk. The information will appear on the

screen.

’MO-FR’:Recording from Monday to Friday.

’WEEK.’:Recording every week on the same day.

DUnder’START’, use SELECT toswitch ’VPS/PDC’ on

oroff. If ’]’ appears in the display,’VPS/PDC’ has

beenswitched off.
