DWhilea programmed recording is being made, you
cannotoperate your video recorder manually. If you
wantto cancel the programmed recording, press
STANDBY/ONm.
DIfyou reach the end of the cassette during a
recording,the video recorder willautomatically
ejectthe cassette.
DIfyou have put in a cassette that cannot be
recordedon, the cassette will be ejected.
’PROTECTED CASSETTE’will briefly appear on
theTV screen.
DIfthe video recorder is switched on a few minutes
beforea programmed recording is to start, ’SWITCH
TO STANDBY- TIMER RECORDING’will flash
onthe TV screen.
DIfyou forget to put a cassette in the machine, ’NO
CASSETTE’will appear on the TV screen. ’k’ will
flashIn the video recorder display.
DIf’ALL TIMERS OCCUPIED’ appears on the TV
screenwhen you press TIMERk, you have used up
allthe available TIMER blocks. If you want to clear
orcheck a programmed recording (TIMER block),
selectit with ;Pqor rP=.
DIf’DATA ERROR’ briefly appears on the screen,this
meansthat the TIMER information has not been
transferred.Please check date, start time and end
timeof the programmed recording
DProgrammenumbers ’E1’ and ’E2’ are for
recordingsfrom other sources (through scart socket
AV1EXT1 or AV2 EXT2 ).

Programming a recording with ’TURBO

TIMER’

Withthe ’TURBO TIMER’, programming a recording that takes
placewithin the next 24 hours, will be quick and easy. This
presetinformation will appear in the display:
•Programmenumber = the programme number selected on
yourTV
•Starttime = current time
•Endtime = current time + 2 hours
aPress TURBOTIMER on the remote control.
Thecurrently selected programme number will appear in
thedisplay, for instance, ’PROG. 01’. If required, change
theprogramme number with rP=or ;Pq.

DIf’CLK’ briefly appears in the display,you must set
theclock. Please read the section ’Setting the time
anddate’ in chapter ’INSTALLING YOUR VIDEO
RECORDER’
bPress TURBOTIMER .
Thecurrent time (= start time) will appear in the display,
forinstance, ’START 20:00’. If required, change the
starttime with rP=or ;Pq.
