Searching every 10 track inthe current folder
Ifthe current folder contains over 10tracks,
youcan search ever y 10 track. When the one
foldercontains a lot of tracks, you can roughly
searchthe track you want to play.
1 Selectthe search method ROUGH.

2 Pressand hold cor dto search every
10track in the current folder.
#Ifthe current folder contains less than 10
tracks,pressing and holding drecalls the last
trackof the folder. Also, if the remaining number
oftracks after searching every 10 tracks are less
than10, pressing and holding drecalls the last
trackof the folder.

Using compression and BMX
Usingthe COMP (compression) and BMX
functionslet you adjust the sound playback
qualityof the CD player. Each of the functions
havea two-step adjustment. The COMP func-
tionbalances the output of louder and softer
soundsat higher volumes. BMX controls
soundreverberations to give playback a fuller
sound.Listen to each of the effects as you se-
lectthrough them and use the one that best
enhancesthe playback of the track or CD that
youare listening to.
1 PressFUNCTION to select COMP.
PressFUNCTION until COMP appears in the
display.
2 Pressaor bto select your favorite set-
ting.

Switching the tag display
Itis possible to turn the tag display on or off, if
MP3/WMAdisc contains the text information
suchas track title and artist name.
!Ifyou turn the tag display off, time to play-
backwill be shorter than when this func-
tionis turned on.
1 PressFUNCTION to select TAG.
PressFUNCTION until TAG appears inthe dis-
play.
2 Pressato turn tag display on.
TAG :ON appearsin the display.
3 Pressbto turn tag display off.
TAG:OFF appears in the display.

Whenyou turn the tag display on, this unit re-
turnsto the beginning of the current track in
orderto read the text information.
