%PressAUDIO to display the audio func-
tionnames.
PressAUDIO repeatedly to switch between
thefollowing audio functions:
FAD(balance adjustment)EQ (equalizer)
LOUD(loudness)FIE (front image enhan-
cer)SLA(source level adjustment)
#Whenselecting the FM tuner as the source,
youcannot switch to SLA.
#Toreturn to the display of each source, press
BAND.
Note
Ifyou do not operate the audio function within
about30 seconds, the display is automatically re-
turnedto the source display.
Using balance adjustment
Youcan select a fader/balance setting that
providesan ideal listening environment in all
occupiedseats.
1 PressAUDIO to select FAD.
PressAUDIO until FAD appears in the display.
#Ifthe balance setting has been previously ad-
justed,BAL will be displayed.
2 Pressaor bto adjust front/rear speak-
erbalance.
Eachpress of aor bmoves the front/rear
speakerbalance towards the front or the rear.
FAD:F15 FAD :R15 is displayedas the front/
rearspeaker balance moves from front to rear.
#FAD: 0 is the proper setting when only two
speakersare used.
3 Presscor dto adjust left/right speaker
balance.
Whenyou press cor d,BAL : 0is displayed.
Eachpress of cor dmoves the left/right
speakerbalance towards the left or the right.
BAL:L9 BAL :R9 isdisplayed as the left/right
speakerbalance moves from left to right.
Using the equalizer
Theequalizer lets you adjust the equalization
tomatch car interior acoustic characteristics
asdesired.
