If your cellular phone features Bluetooth wire- less technology, you can connect to this unit for hands-free, wireless calls, even while driving.

Important

Since this unit is on standby to connect with your cellular phones via Bluetooth wireless technol- ogy, using this unit without running the engine can result in battery drainage.

Shows which source has been selected.

2Device name

Shows the device name of the cellular phone.

3Signal level indicator

Shows the signal strength of cellular phone.

!Signal level indicator may differ from the actual signal level.

4User number indicator

Shows the registration number of the cellu- lar phone.

5Battery strength indicator

Shows the battery strength of cellular phone.

6Incoming call notice indication

Shows when an incoming call has been re- ceived and not checked yet.

8Automatic answering/Automatic reject- ing indicator

Shows AUTO when the automatic answer- ing function is on (for more details, refer to Setting the automatic answering on page 46).

Shows REJECT when the automatic reject- ing function is on (for more details, refer to Setting the automatic rejecting on page 46).

9Calendar display

Shows the date, and time (if connected with a phone).

!This unit’s phone call reception is on standby when ignition switch is set to ACC or ON.

!The line-of-sight distance between this unit and your cellular phone must be 10 meters or less for sending and receiving voice and data via Bluetooth wireless technology. However, the transmission distance may become short- er than the estimated distance, depending on the environment in use.

!In order to use Bluetooth wireless technology, devices must be able to interpret certain pro- files. This unit is compatible with the following profiles.
