Showsthe function status.
1 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display the
mainmenu.
FUNCTION,AUDIOand ENTERTAINMENT
appearon the display.
2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
FUNCTION.
Turnto change the menu option; press to se-
lect.
Thefunction name appears on the display.
3 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select the
function.
TurnMULTI-CONTROL clockwise or counter-
clockwiseto switch between the functions in
thefollowing order:
Playmode (repeat play)Shuffle mode (ran-
domplay)Pause (pause)
#Toreturn to the playback display, press BAND.
Note
Ifyou do not operate the function within about 30
seconds,the display is automatically returned to
theplayback display.
Repeating play
Forplayback of the songs on the iPod, there
aretwo repeat play ranges: Repeat One (re-
peatone song) and Repeat All (repeat all
songsin the list).
!WhilePlay mode is set to Repeat One,
youcannot select the other songs.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
Playmode in the function menu.
Playmode appears in the display.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to select the re-
peatrange.
PressMULTI-CONTROL repeatedly until the
desiredrepeat range appears in the display.
!RepeatOne Repeat just the current song
!RepeatAll Repeat all songs in the se-
lectedlist
Playing songs in a randomorder (shuffle)
Forplayback of the songs on the iPod, there
aretwo random play methods: Shuffle Songs
(playback songs in a random order) and
ShuffleAlbums (play back albums in a ran-
domorder).
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
Shufflemode in the function menu.
Shufflemode appears in the display.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to select your fa-
voritesetting.
PressMULTI-CONTROL repeatedly until the
desiredsetting appears in the display.
!ShuffleSongs Play back songs in a ran-
domorder within the selected list
!ShuffleAlbums Select an album ran-
domly,and then play back all the songs in it
inorder
!ShuffleOFF Cancel the random play
