Note

Only video signals with NTSC or PAL resolutions are output from the VIDEO OUT terminal. Set the output using the TV SYSTEM (NTSC, PAL) switch on this unit’s rear panel (page 26).

Video signals with the resolution set at Setup are output from the COMPONENT VIDEO OUT terminals (set to 480/59.94i (USA and Canadian models)/576/50i (European model) upon shipment from factory). It is not possible to output signals with a resolution differing from the HDMI output (page 46).

When EDID is set to On and HDMI connections are used, the HDMI output’s resolution setting has priority, so the output resolution of the signals output from the COMPONENT VIDEO OUT terminals may change automatically (page 46).

When there is a display for monitoring, we recommend connecting it to the VIDEO OUT terminal.
