Basic Operation

Loading the SD memory card

Caution

If the SD memory card is inserted or removed while this unit’s power is still on, it may not play properly. If this happens, turn the power off then back on to reload the SD memory card’s information.

1Set the groove in the door lock key on the main unit’s front panel so that it is vertical.

The door is unlocked and can now open.

2Open the door and load the SD memory card.

Hold the SD memory card with the front facing upwards and insert it slowly all the way into the slot until it stops.

3Close the door and set the groove in the door lock key so that it is horizontal.

The door is locked and no longer opens.

4 Turn on the power.

Press the STANDBY/ON button.

Playback is possible once the POWER ON message appears. About one minute is required before playback becomes possible. Take this startup time into account when controlling the power externally.

Removing the SD memory card from this unit

Caution

Do not pull the SD memory card out or unplug this unit’s power cord while the CARD ACCESS indicator is flashing. Doing so could destroy the data recorded on the card.

1 Turn off the power.

Press the STANDBY/ON button. After the POWER OFF message appears, the display turns off and the STANDBY/ON button’s indicator switches from green to orange.

2Set the groove in the door lock key so that it is vertical.

The door is unlocked and can now open.

3Open the door, push the SD memory card in so that it pops out a little, then pull it out horizontally.

Do not forcibly insert or pull out the SD memory card. Doing so could damage the SD memory card or lead to malfunction of this unit.

Depending on the shape of the SD memory card, the card may not pop out when it is pushed in. If this happens, try pushing the card in several times until it pops out. Pulling on the card forcibly when it is inserted in the SD memory card slot may cause damage.

Do not insert any objects other than SD memory cards into the SD memory card insertion slot. Inserting coins or other metal objects could damage the internal circuitry and lead to malfunction.
