Switching the dimmer setting
To prevent the display from being too bright at night, the display is automatically dimmed when the car’s headlights are turned on. You can switch dimmer on or off.
1 Press FUNCTION to select DIM.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until Dimmer appears in the display.
2 Select DIM on or off with 5/∞.
Pressing 5/∞ will switch Dimmer between on and off and that status will be displayed (e.g., Dimmer :ON).
Selecting the brightness
You can select the display brightness. Initially this mode is set to 12.
1Press FUNCTION to select BRIGHT. Press FUNCTION repeatedly until Brightness appears in the display.
2Select the desired brightness with 2/3.
• The display shows 0 – 15.
Selecting the illumination color
This product is equipped with two illumination colors, green and red.
You can select the desired illumination color.
1 Press FUNCTION to select ILL.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until ILLUMI appears in the display.
2Select the desired illumination color with
2/3.
Pressing 2/3 will switch ILLUMI between red or green and that status will be displayed (e.g.,
ILLUMI :GRN).
Setting the rear output and sub- woofer controller
This product’s rear output (rear speaker leads output and RCA rear output) can be used for

When rear output are connected to full range speakers (when Rear SP:FULL is selected), you can connect the RCA subwoofer output to a subwoofer. In this case, you can select whether to use the subwoofer controller’s (low pass filter, phase)
Notes
•Even if you change this setting, there is no output unless you switch the non fading out- put (refer to page 34) or subwoofer output (refer to page 33) in the audio menu on.
•If you change the subwoofer controller, sub- woofer output and non fading output in the audio menu return to the factory settings.
•Both rear speaker leads output and RCA rear output are switched simultaneously in this setting mode.
1 Press FUNCTION to select SW.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until Rear SP appears in the display.
2Change the rear output setting with 5/∞. Pressing 5/∞ will switch between Rear SP :FULL
