Setting the Parental Lock Level

On some DVDs, viewing of violent scenes or other scenes you do not want children to see can be restricted. The viewing restriction level can be set in steps.

Note:

For DVDs not including the parental lock function, the parental lock can be set, but the DVD will be played normally.

Setting the level

Making this setting when setting the level for the first time or when changing the level. Press the SETUP button to display the setup screen (page 57), then perform the operation described below.

1From the “General” tab on the setup screen, use the cursor buttons (5/°) to select “Parental Lock”.
