Some descriptions use illustrations of the type equipped with a liquid crystal display.

When this player is connected to a TV or AV amplifier, the setup screen must be displayed and the various settings must be switched according to the connected equipment. The setup screen is where these settings are stored temporarily. This player is equipped with two levels of setup screens, “Basic” and “Expert”, which can be selected as necessary according to the viewing environment and the frequency of use of the different setting items.
