Resuming playback from a specific position (last memory) - DVDs and video CDs

The last memory function can be used to resume playback from the desired

position.

Notes:

With DVDs, this function may not work with some discs.

With DVDs, when you store the last memory position for a sixth disc, the oldest position in the memory (the first one stored) is overwritten.

With video CDs, the last memory position can only be stored for one disc, and the position is cleared from the memory when the disc is removed.

With video CDs, the last memory function may not work when playing the disc with playback control. If this happens, play the disc without displaying the menus.

1Press the LAST MEMORY

button during playback.

“Last Memory” appears on the display.

2Press the power button to turn off the power or press the STOP button.

Hint:

Unlike the resume function, with the last memory function the position remains in the memory even after the disc is removed. Last memory positions can be set for up to five DVDs.

Resuming playback from the last memory position

1Load the disc for which the last

memory position is stored.

With some DVDs, playback starts

automatically when the disc is loaded. In this

 

case, press the STOP button to stop playback.

 

 

 

2 In the stop mode, press the

LAST MEMORY button.

while “Last Memory” is displayed. “Last
