Setup Screen Operations

With this player, various functions recorded on DVDs can be set in addition to the settings made with the Setup Navigator. To make these settings you must first display the setup screen.

Starting up the setup screen

By changing the setting items on the various menus on the setup screen you can create a more convenient playback environment. The setup screen has two modes.

Press the SETUP button.

The setup screen appears.

Move SETUP Exit

•The setup screen is displayed whenever the SETUP button is pressed, regardless of the player’s play mode (play or stop) or the type of disc (DVD, video CD or CD).

•Press the SETUP button again to close the setup screen.

Hint:

•When the Setup Navigator is started up, the on-screen information is displayed regardless of whether the “Basic” or “Expert” setup screen mode is selected.

•If the Setup Navigator has appeared automatically, select “Not Used” then press the ENTER button, or press the return button. The setup screen appears.
