EXIF （可交換圖像文件）

這是由 Fuji Photo Film 開發的一種用於數位 相機的文件格式。許多廠商生產的數位相機都 使用這種壓縮的文件格式，它帶有日期，時間 和縮略圖資訊以及圖片數據。

文件擴展名

加在文件末尾的標籤，表示文件的類型。例 如，“.mp3”表示 MP3 文件。

MPEG 視頻

用於 VCD 和 DVD 碟片的一種視頻格式。VCD 採 用較早的 MPEG-1標準，而 DVD 採用更新，質 量更好的 MPEG-2標準。

PBC（播放控制）（僅用於 VCD/超級 VCD）

通過錄製在碟片上的螢幕顯示選單瀏覽 VCD/ 超級 VCD 的一種系統。尤其適用於不是一次從 頭看到尾的碟片，例如卡拉 OK 碟片。

ISO 9660 格式

CD-ROM碟片容量和文件結構的國際標準。

JPEG

靜像 （如照片和插圖）的文件格式。JPEG 文 件以 “.jpg”或 “.JPG”擴展名識別。絕大 部分的數位相機都採用這種格式。

MP3

MP3 （MPEG1 音頻層 3）是一種壓縮的音頻文 件格式。文件以 “.mp3”或 “.MP3”擴展名 識別。

MLP ／壓縮 PCM （僅用於 DVD 唱碟）

這是一種無損的壓縮格式，可使 DVD 唱碟中保 存的 PCM 音頻比其他方式所保存的多。

MPEG 音頻

用於 VCD 和一些 DVD 碟片的一種音頻格式。本 機可以將 MPEG 音頻轉換成 PCM 格式，以更好 地與數位錄製設備和 AV 放大器兼容。可參見

PCM （脈碼調制）

區域 （僅用於 DVD 影碟）

將碟片和播放機與世界上的特定區域聯繫在 一起。本機僅播放具有兼容區域代碼的碟片。 您可以在後面板上看到本機的區域代碼。有的 碟片與不止一個的區域兼容 （或與所有區域 兼容）。

S1 S 視頻輸出

該S視頻信號格式在視頻信號中包含縱橫比資 訊 （4:3 或 16:9）。

S2 S 視頻輸出

S2 是 S 視頻的增強版，它除了縱橫比資訊外， 還包含 letterbox/pan & scan 資訊。與 S2 S 視頻兼容的寬屏電視機可根據信號自動切換 至合適的模式。
