Turning the unit on
%Press SOURCE to turn the unit on.
When you select a source the unit is turned
on.
Selecting a source
Youcan select a source you want to listen to.
Toswitch to the built-in CD player, load a disc
in this unit (refer to page 15).
%Press SOURCE to select a source.
PressSOURCE repeatedly to switch between
the following sources:
XM tunerTunerTelevisionBuilt-inCD
playerMulti-CD playerExternal unit 1
External unit 2AUX

!Inthe following cases, the sound source will
notchange:
Whena unit correspondingto each source
isnot connectedto this unit.
Whenno disc is set in this unit.
Whenno magazine is set in themulti-CD
player.
Whenthe AUX (auxiliar y input) is set to off
(referto page 40).
!Externalunit refers to a Pioneer product (such
asone availablein the future) that, although
incompatibleas a source, enables control of
basicfunctions by this unit. Twoexternal units
canbe controlledby this unit. Whentwo exter-
nal units are connected, the allocation of
themto external unit 1 or externalunit 2 is
automaticallyset by this unit.
!Whenthis units blue/whitelead isconnected
tothe car s auto-antenna relay control term-
inal,the car s antenna extends when this
unitssource is turnedon. To retract the an-
tenna,turn thesource off.

turns off.
