Turning the clock displayon or off
Youcan turn the clock display on or off.
%Press CLOCK to turn the clock display
on or off.
Each press of CLOCK turns the clock display
on or off.
#Theclock display disappearstemporarily
whenyou perform other operations, but the clock
displayappears againaf ter 25 seconds.
Note
Evenwhen the sources are off, the clock display
appearson thedisplay. Pressing CLOCK turns
theclock displayon or off.
Using the AUX source
An IP-BUS-RCAInterconnector such as the
CD-RB20/CD-RB10 (sold separately) lets you
connect this unit to auxiliary equipment fea-
turing RCA output. Formore details, refer to
the IP-BUS-RCAInterconnector owner s man-
ual.

Selecting AUX as the source

%Press SOURCE to selectAUX as the
source.
PressSOURCE until AUX appears in the dis-
play.
#If the auxiliary setting is not turned on, AUX
cannotbe selected.For more details, see Switch-
ing the auxiliary setting on page 40.

Setting the AUX title

The title displayed for the AUX source can be
changed.
1 Afteryou have selected AUX as the
source, press FUNCTION and hold until
TITLE IN appears in the display.
2 Pressaor bto select a letter of the al-
phabet.
Each press of awill display a letter of the al-
phabet in A B C ... X Y Z, numbers and sym-
bols in 1 2 3 ... > [ ] order.Each press of bwill
display a letter in the reverse order,such as Z
Y X ... C B A order.
3 Pressdto move the cursor to the next
character position.
When the letter you want is displayed, press d
to move the cursor to the next position and
then select the next letter.Press cto move
backwards in the display.
4 Movethe cursor to the last position by
pressing dafter entering the title.
When you press done more time, the entered
title is stored in memory.
5 PressBAND to return to the playback
display.
Setting the level indicator
These are two stored level indicator to select
from.
%Press EQ and hold to select the level in-
dicator.
PressEQ and hold repea tedly to switch be-
tween the following settings:
