Selecting the search method
Youcan switch the search method between
fast forward/reverse and searching every 10
track.
1 PressFUNCTION to select FF/REV.
PressFUNCTION until FF/REV appears in the
display.
#If the search method ROUGH has been pre-
viouslyselected, ROUGH will bedisplayed.
2 Presscor dto select the search meth-
od.
Presscor duntil the desired search method
appears in the display.

Searching every 10 track inthe current folder
If the current folder contains over 10 tracks,
you can search every 10 track. When the one
folder contains a lot of tracks, you can roughly
search the track you want to play.
1 Selectthe search method ROUGH.

2 Pressand hold cor dto search every
10 track in the currentfolder.
#If the current folder contains less than 10
tracks,pressing and holding drecalls the last
trackof the folder. Also, if the remaining number
of tracks after searching every 10 tracks are less
than10, pressing and holdingdrecalls the last
trackof thefolder.
#If the current folder contains less than 10
tracks,pressing and holding crecalls the first
trackof the folder. Also, if the remaining number
of tracks after searching every 10 tracks are less
than10, pressing and holdingcrecalls the first
trackof thefolder.
Switching the tag display
It is possible to turn the tag display on or off,if
MP3/WMA disc contains the text information
such as track title and artist name.
!If you turn the tag display off,time to play-
back will be shorter than when this func-
tion is turned on.
1 PressFUNCTION to select TAG.
PressFUNCTION until TA G appearsin the dis-
play.
2 Pressato turn tag display on.
TAG :ON appears in the display.
3 Pressbto turn tag display off.
TAG:OFF appears in the display.
Note
Whenyou turn the tag display on, this unit re-
turnsto thebeginning of the current track in
orderto read thetext information.
Displaying text informationon MP3/WMA/WAV disc
Textinformation recorded on an MP3/WMA/
WAVdisc can be displayed.
