Turn On/Off the TAD Jack

The AFX-300’s TAD jack is automatically turned on, so you can easily plug in a TAD and begin using the AFX-300. If the TAD you connected is also programmable (by touch-tones), the AFX-300 lets you turn off its TAD jack to prevent the con- nected TAD from answering calls (even though the TAD might be turned on and set to answer calls) or interfering with touch- tone commands meant for the AFX-300. You might also want to turn off the TAD jack if you did not connect a TAD.
