Connecting the Docking Station to Your Computer

The docking station provides a solid and convenient base for the ThermoView imager. The docking station keeps the ThermoView imager available and connected to the computer or workstation. In addition, it keeps the batteries charged and ready to go. The docking station connects to your computer through its USB port. The USB cord should remain connected to the computer at all times.

Hooking Up the Docking Station

ξ Connect the power adapter plug into the Docking Station’s power jack.

ξ Connect the power plug to a power outlet. (Depending on the power requirements in your country you may need to use one of the several adapters provided that matches the power plug to the local power outlet.)

ξ Find the USB port on your computer. Look for this symbol

on your computer.

ξ Locate the USB communication cord permanently attached to the docking station. (The USB communication cord is equipped with an USB connector.)

ξ Insert the USB connector on the cord to the USB port on your computer (see Figure 18).
