Changing Camera Settings

Immediately after you press the shutter release button, the still
image taken is displayed on the screen for a moment so you can
check it. By default, the image confirmation time is set to 0.5
second, but this can be changed.
To change the image confirmation time, follow the steps below.

Display the SETUP menu.

Press the " button to select [LCD CONFIRM.] and
press the $ button.

Press the !" buttons to select
the desired setting.

Press the MENU/OK bu t to n, or
press the # button and then
the MENU/OK button.

When [LCD CONFIRM.] is set to 0.5 seconds, symbols such as the zoom bar may
remain on the monitor while the image is displayed.

It is convenient to set the i mage confirmation time to [3 0SEC.] to allow enough time to
view the image. This is part icul arly us eful w hen us ing an LCD vi ewfind er. Ev en i f you s et
the image confirmation time to [3 0SEC.], you can half-pr ess the s hutter re lease butt on to
return to shooting mode and shoot a picture.
