You cannot use the intern al f lash w hen an ex terna l fl ash is att ached as t his ca n cau se

Irrespective of flash s etting, a flash ON signa l is output to the X contac t of the hot s hoe.
To stop an external flash, us e a switch on the flash.
Exposure may not be appropriate even when the F-value and ISO sen s itivity of the
external flash are the same as those of the camera. If s o, change the f-number and
ISO sensitivity of the flash.
As the flash ON signal, the c amera outputs a positive pulse to the X contact.
A flash on the market rarely have an X contact of the opposite polarity. This kind of
flash may not only not work b ut also cause a problem to t he camera. For the termina l
specifications, contact the manufacturer of the ex ternal flash.
Use an external flash of a lighting angle covering the angle of view of the shooting
lens.
Use an external flash basically at a distance where the internal flash is not adequate
(long distance). Shooting at a short distance may end in over-exposure.
Do not use an external flas h having a special s ignal pin. Usi ng such a f lash may cause
inappropriate exposure or damage of the camera circuit.
You cannot use an LCD viewfinder when an external flash is attached.
