LŠngst ner till vŠnster finns fem rektangulŠra knappar som ersŠtter grundlŠggande funktioner, (Play, Pause och snabbspola m.m.), fšr t.ex. CD-spelare, DVD-spelare eller en video.

Kommando-knappar (švriga)

Under glidlocket finns en grupp av ovala knappar som ersŠtter olika funktioner beroende pŒ vilken Enhets/IngŒngs knapp som Šr aktiverad. Se illustrationen pŒ knapp- benŠmningar, ÓLabel SetsÓ.

Multifunktions-knappar

Fšrutom normala funktioner har de fem knapparna, SCAN, PTY, P-TUN, TP och TA en specialfunktion. De kan ÓlŠras uppÓ till att ha tre kommandon pŒ varje knapp. Vid fšrsta tryckningen pŒ knappen skickas det fšrsta kommandot, det andra kommandot skickas vid andra tryckningen och det tredje kommandot skickas vid tredje tryckningen.

Special-knappar

De tre rektangulŠra knapparna under glidlocket anvŠnds till att programmera RR-1050 och fšr specialfunktioner som t.ex. knappljud.

Konfigurerings-knappar

Fyra nedsŠnkta knappar under glidlocket anvŠnds till att konfigurera fjŠrrkontrollen. De Šr nedsŠnkta fšr att fšrhindra att de trycks in av misstag. AnvŠnd spetsen pŒ en kulpenna fšr att trycka ned dem.

To program a multistep button using the SCAN button as an example:

1.Follow the four steps under ÒTo program a COM- MAND buttonÓ in the previous section to program the first command for the SCAN button.

2.Press the SCAN button a second time. ÒS1-2Ó shows in the display. Press and hold the next button on the original remote until the ÒOK!Ó confirmation appears.

3.To learn a third command, press the SCAN button a third time. The display shows ÒS1-3Ó indicating that it is ready to learn the third command. Press and hold the next command button on the original remote until the ÒOK!Ó confirmation appears.

NOTE: To change the programming of any command for a multistep button, it is necessary to start over beginning with the first command.

Macro Programming

Twenty of the buttons on the RR-1050 (the nine device but- tons, the EXT button and the number buttons 0 - 9) can store multiple command macro sequences Ð for example, a sequence that turns on the TV set, selects channel 5, turns on the surround processor, and selects the TV input. A macro sequence is sent by pressing the MACRO button followed by the button where the macro is stored.

To program a macro sequence, first make sure that all of the desired commands have already been learned by the RR-1050 Ð the macro feature simply records a sequence of individual RR-1050 button commands.

1.Press the LEARN button . The ÒLEARNÓ indicator appears in the display.

2.Press the MACRO button . The LCD displays ÒMACRO?Ó asking where to store the sequence.

3.Press one of the available macro buttons - the nine DEVICE/INPUT buttons, the EXT button, or the 0-9 numeric buttons. An ÒMÓ followed by the name of the button appears briefly in the display (e.g. ÒM.0Ó).

4.ÒStep 1Ó appears in the display indicating that the unit is ready to learn the first step in the macro. Press the desired individual commands until the entire sequence has been performed. Each button press is confirmed in the display followed by a prompt for the next step.

NOTE: When using the DEVICE/INPUT buttons to se- lect the device you want to operate press the button for less than one second. To select an input for the device press and hold the button for more than one second.
