Problem	Solution
Back of	• Check for leaking toner. Clean the inside of the

Black pages	Remove the toner cartridge and reinsert.

A	• The toner cartridge may be defective and need

Loose toner • Clean the inside of the printer.

Character	Character voids are white areas within characters that

	• Turn the stack of paper over in the tray. Also try
	rotating the paper 180° in the tray.

	printer properties, click Paper tab, and set paper
	type to Thin. Refer to the Software Section for
	details.
