Programming Department Entry Limit or Price
Note: Open departments are automatically assigned a 7 digit entry limit. You do not need to program this section for open departments, unless you wish to set a different limit.
If you are programming a open department:
zYou can limit errors by setting the maximum amount that may be entered into a department.
If you are programming a preset department:
zYou can set the preset price. The price you program here is the amount that is automatically registered when the department key is pressed.
Programming a Department Entry Limit or Price
1.Turn the control lock to the PGM position.
2.If the department is preset, enter the preset price, up to seven digits (01 to 1234567). (It is not necessary to enter proceeding zeros. For example enter $1.00 as 100.)
OR,
If the department is open, enter the entry limit you wish to set.
3.Repeat from step 2 above for each department you wish to set.
4.Press the CASH/TEND key to end programming.
