You need to download Linux software packages from the Samsung website to install the printer software (http://www.samsung.com > find your product > Support or Downloads).

Install the Linux driver and add network printer

1Make sure that the machine is connected to your network and powered on. Also, your machine’s IP address should have been set.

2Copy Unified Linux Driver package to your system.

3Open Terminal program and go to the folder that you copied the package to.

4Extract the package.

5Move to uld folder.

6Execute ” ./install.sh“ command (If you are not logged in as root, execute the command with “sudo” as “sudo ./install.sh”).

7Proceed with installation.

8When installation finished, launch Printing utility (Go to System > Administration > Printing or execute “system-config-printer“

command in Terminal program).

9Click Add button.

Select AppSocket/HP JetDirect and enter your machine’s IP address.

Click Forward button and add it to your system.

Add a network printer

1Double-click the Unified Driver Configurator.

2Click Add Printer.

3The Add printer wizard window opens. Click Next.

4Select Network printer and click the Search button.

5The printer’s IP address and model name appears on list field.

6Select your machine and click Next.

7Enter the printer description and click Next.

8After the machine is added, click Finish.
