TheInstallation menu mainly intends to help you for
buildinga Channel Table in the most efficient way.

This tuningmenu consists of two parts:

Automatic Search:
Automatic search is started by pressing the “OK ”
buttoni n theauto-search pop up menu. All the ser-
vices are searched and a channeltable is created
automatically.
All channelsfound are stored in a sorted form with
respect to their channel numbers. Some services
maynot appear with the correct channel number. At
thetime of printing, not all broadcasters aresending
theirchannel number information.
Manual Search:
Inmanual search, the number of the multiplexis en-
teredmanually and onlythat multiplex is searched for
thechannels. For every valid channelnumber, signal
level,signal quality and network name are shownat
thebottom of the screen.
Inboth manual and auto search anyexisting channel
in the databaseis not re-stored to avoid redundant
duplicatesof that channel.
FIRSTTIME INSTALLATION
The user canuse this item to load default settings,
whichhad been loaded to the receiver at the factory.
Toinstall factorysettings, highlight “First Time In-
stallation” menu and press the “OK” button, then
youwill be asked to confirm for deleting all channels
and settings.

existingchannel table will be deleted.
After factory settingsis loaded, “First Time Instal-
lation”menu will be displayed.

Pressthe “OK(SELECT)” button to start installation.
Aftersearch is completed fordigital channels, a mes-
sage asking searchfor analogue channels appears
on the screen.
