screen.Programme reminders can be set to signal
that a programme is about to start whenyou are
watchinganother channel. If you set reminder to a
programme,then you will be asked forswitching to
thatchannel when the reminder time is reached.

DisplayingThe Subtitles
With Digital terrestrial broadcasting(DVB-T), some
programmes are broadcast withsubtitles. Subtitles
canbe displayed when watchingthese programmes.
Pressthe “M” button to display the Mainmenu, high-
light the Configuration line using or button
andpress the “OK(SELECT)” button to display the
Configurationmenu.
Highlight the “Subtitle”item in Configuration menu
and use or buttonto s et Subtitle to off or a
language.
If“ Subtitle”is on via selecting one languageoption,
pressingthe “”buttoncauses the following warn-
ingmessage display on the screen.
Interactiveservices cannot be used
whilesubtitles are on. Would you like
toturn subtitles off now?

Digital Teletext
WithDigital terrestrial broadcasting(DVB-T), in addi-
tionto pictures and sound, youc analso watch digital
teletext.
Digital teletextis sometimes broadcast at the same
timeas normal broadcasting.
1. Press the button.
Thedigital teletext information appears.
2. Operate it with the coloured buttons, / /
/ buttons and OK button.
The operationmethod may differ depending on the
contentsof the digital teletext.
Follow the instructions displayed on digital teletext
screen.
•When “Press “OK(SELECT)” buttonor similar mes-
sage app ears on the scree n, press the
“OK(SELECT)”button.
• When the (Text)button is pressed, the TV re-
turnsto television broadcasting.
•With Digital terrestrialbroadcasting (DVB-T),in addi-
tionto digital teletextbroadcasting at the same time
as normal broadcasting, there are also channels
with justdigital teletext broadcasting.
•The aspect ratio when watchinga channel with just
digitalteletext broadcasting is the same as the as-
pect ratio of thepicture watched previously.
• When you press the (Text) button again, the
digitalteletext screen is displayed.
OverAir Download
Toensure that yourIDTV always has the most up-to-
dateinformation, please ensurethat after use it is set
toits standby mode.At 3AM each day, theIDTV auto-
matically searches for any new informa tion which
may be broadcast and will download this to your
IDTVautomatically. This operationwill normally take
approximately30 seconds.
If you want to do this, you need to set Automatic
Downloadto “Enabled” in ReceiverUpgrade setting.

Widescreen
Dependingonthe type of broadcastbeing transmitted,
programmescan be viewed in a numberof formats.
Pressthe “WIDE” buttonrepeatedlyto select between
Auto,Full,4:3,Panoramic, 14:9 Zoom, Cinema or
16:9 Subtitle.
WhenAuto is selected, the formatbeing displayed is
determinedby the picture being broadcast.
Please Note:Menu size changes depending on the
chosenimage size.
