Printing via the RS-232C Interface
Use the following procedure to print by connecting to
a computer or a handy terminal through an RS-232C
cable option.
1. Locate the RS-232C
interface port cover and lift
it up to expose the port.
2. Plug one end of the RS-
232C cable firmly into the
port. Make sure that the
arrow mark on the
connector of the RS- 232C cable matches with the
arrow mark by the side of the printer’s port.
3. Plug the other end of the RS-232C cable to the
corresponding RS-232C connector of the computer
or handy terminal. For information on the host
device RS-232C connector, refer to the relevant
instruction manual.
