3.3Configuration WithaBOOTP Server
If aBOOTPserverisavailable,you can useit toconfigurethe bridge remotely.
Youwill need the MACaddress of the bridge.The MACaddress ismarked on a
labelon the bridge’srearpanel.Notetheaddress and giveit toyourserver
systemadministrator.
Usethe BOOTPserverto associatethe bridge’sMACaddresswith a unique IP
address and assign it tothe bridge.
If you want the bridge to useacentralized mapping fileformapping TCP/IPand
ModbusPlusaddresses,provide the UniformResource Locator (URL)tothe file
RTE.TXTintherootpath option (option 17)of the BOOTPserver.
The URLformatis:
//<host_name>/rte.txt
