PPV TV mode:

Parental CTRL is only for LODGENET and nSTREAMS users. For ONCOMMAND, NXTV, SeaChange and some LODGENET and nSTREAMS (depending on the system you have) users, the hotel server controls the setting.

For LODGENET and nSTREAMS users, use SELECT on the remote control unit of LODGENET and nSTREAMS instead of ENTER in the following operations.

Allows you to use a secret number to protect certain settings from being accidentally changed.

IMPORTANT:

Three conditions must be met to enable the V-Chip (see pages 62 to 67):

1 Secret No. is registered.

2 V-Chip/V-Chip (DTV Only) settings have been made.

3 “Status” is set to “On”.

Setting a secret number

1Press MENU to display the MENU screen, and then press c/d to select “Setup”.

Press a/b to select “Parental CTRL”, and

2then press ENTER.

3Press a/b to select “Secret No.”, and then press ENTER.

Setting parental control status

Used to enable or disable the parental control function.

1Repeat steps 1 and 2 in Setting a secret number.

• The secret number setting menu displays.

2Input the 4-digit secret number by using 0–9.

3Press a/b to select “Status”, and then press

ENTER.

4Press c/d to select “On” or “Off”, and then press ENTER.

•Select “On” to enable and “Off” to disable Parental CTRL.
