Creating programs

●Setting the PIP window

Set the frame size, aspect ratio, input source, and audio source for the PIP frame. This function can be used only with the SHARP LCD monitor (PN series).

1. Click the [PinP] tab.

2. Select the “Monitor Model Name”.

3.Set values for each item.

A list will appear when you click on a cell in the “Value” column.

If using a PN-655 monitor

*Items displayed vary according to the “Monitor Model Name”.

1)Select “Size”.

Monitor sizes vary according to aspect ratio.

2)Select either “16:9” or “4:3” from the “Aspect Ratio” list.

*Select this according to the video or images that you want to display.

3)Select “D-Terminal”, “Composite (Video)”, or “Component” for the “Input Source” option.

4)Select either “PC” or “AV” for “Sound Source”.

5)“Direction” can only be set to “Landscape”.

* The video signal may cause misalignment with PIP location and size.

●Saving a program

Save program

Use this option when you want to save the currently edited program under its original name.

1. From the [File] menu, click [Save Program]. You can also save by clicking .

A confrmation message for creating a thumbnail will appear.

When “Program Editor” is started, the title bar will read “Untitled”. If you attempt to save at this stage the [Save Program] dialog box will be displayed. For the remaining steps, please refer to step 2 of “Save program as”.

2.When you want to create a thumbnail, click [Yes]. When you do not want to create a thumbnail, click [No].

When you click [Yes], a small program preview for creating a thumbnail will appear. Do not perform any operation before this preview screen disappears.

For more details about the program thumbnail, refer to p.46.

If you have already created a thumbnail, the program thumbnail is not deleted even if you click [No]. The previous thumbnail is displayed.
